An I/T Specialist focused on WebSphere Front Office (WFO) and WebSphere MQ Low Latency Messaging (MQLLM) with strong technical knowledge of the front office of financial services firms. Responsibilities include (a) providing technical sales leadership and helping move sales opportunities to closure through demos, POCs, etc (b) providing skills transfer (c) developing and delivering intellectual capital (i.e. PoTs, Demos,etc) and (d) providing input in product and sales strategy. Candidate must have in-depth knowledge of capital markets technology, procedure, and complementary technologies and applications. This role also requires an understanding of competitive technologies and their place in the market. Extensive exposure to market data distribution and trade execution technologies at a deep technical level is a must. Up to 50% travel potential.
This is a senior technical leadership role held at the Americas level, deep skills, enthusiasm and enterprise-level passion will be critical to success.
Required
* Bachelor’s Degree
* At least 3 years experience in Enterprise-level IT Sales (Software/Hardware)
* Readiness to travel up to 50%; travelling 3-4 days a week, home on weekends
* English: Fluent
Preferred
* Information Technology
* At least 3 years experience in market data expertise (technical and content) with Financial Services firms
* At least 3 years experience in Trade processing expertise with Financial Services firms
* At least 3 years experience in Knowledge of competitive technologies (Wombat, RMDS, TIBCO, Activ)
* At least 5 years experience in WebSphere Front Office (WFO)
* At least 5 years experience in WebSphere MQ Low Latency Messaging (MQLLM)
* At least 5 years experience in Enterprise-level IT Sales (Software/Hardware)
