InStranet is expanding and currently has an opening for a Marketing Associate based in Chicago.

Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions:

Conduct courteous, professional outbound phone calls to contacts generated from trade shows, marketing campaigns, along with cold calling new prospects in order to generate leads and executive-level appointments
Conduct online and phone research in order to chart and understand a target company�s organizational structure
Record all necessary information in sales force automation software, salesforce.com
Other marketing / researching duties, such as organizing direct mailings, as requested
Occasional travel to trade shows, seminars, etc.
Provide updates on activities
Qualifications:    Preferred candidates will have the following qualifications:

A minimum of 1-2 years of marketing, sales, telemarketing/telesales experience in business-to-business and/or technology environment
Exceptionally strong phone and email communication skills
The ability to clearly communicate business and technical concepts over the phone
Effective organizational and time management skills, including the ability to work in an independent manner and seek assistance as needed
Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and/or Sales Force Automation tools such as salesforce.com
Ability and desire to sell (consistent qualification, probing and closing)
Experience in software solutions industry a definite plus
Ability to thrive in an aggressive business development environment
Self-motivated, performance-driven professional
Education:
A Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent experience is desired.

Compensation:
The selected candidate will be compensated with a competitive base salary, plus multiple incentive programs.
