Global Communications Analyst Level: MBA or Graduate Student, Full-time (Summer 09) Sun’s Executive Communication team is looking for an internationally-minded student with experience in market research and analysis. Research focuses on market insight (e.g. innovation, open source, emerging markets, etc.) and executive level relationships (e.g. global opinion leaders, influential stake-holders, executive-level decision makers, etc.) across sectors and industries. Further responsibilities include helping to build and administer executive relationship management systems (saleforce.com) and modeling/index projects. This individual should have excellent research, critical thinking and analytical skills. Knowledge of relevant information and data sources (both formal and informal, global and web-based) and familiarly with relationship management/CRM systems is essential. Excellent presentation and spreadsheet skill. We will consider both MBA/Graduate students and high performing undergraduates. Specifically, interns contribute by:
* Providing best-in-class, fast and relevant research and analysis while recommending actionable strategies
* Conceptualizing and crafting business and marketing frameworks to explain research and findings, including use of presentation software and building spreadsheets
* Developing and contributing to Global Influencer Relations program
* Drafting research briefs and profiles on global influencers and opinion leaders
* Proposing and contributing to creative plans for thought leadership, marketing and communications opportunities, media campaigns and other executive initiatives
* Engaging professionally via phone, online and in-person with senior and executive level professionals
* Providing general program coordination and support while collaborating with team

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Interns should display initiative, creative problem-solving skills, a collaborative and organized approach and the ability to manage multiple work streams. Projects will vary depending on current needs but will include in-depth projects, along with weekly and daily deadlines.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge and experience in technology and innovation (and related trends).
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
3-6
MINIMUM LEVEL OF EDUCATION:
Enrolled in an MBA or Graduate Program, or high-performing Undergraduate
