The Business Analyst Marketing reports directly to the VP, Strategy for the Corporate Office of Strategy & Growth for Johnson & Johnson. This individual supports the analysis, identification, development and implementation of strategies for new growth opportunities within Healthcare Information Technology (HIT) white space with a focus on value creation and driving revenue growth for J&J.
This person will be involved in the strategy development and will support the development of HIT and/ or Services strategy & expertise around consumers, customers, markets, opinion leaders and competition.
Identifies, monitors, synthesizes, and reports on trends, innovations and issues impacting HIT and the broader healthcare landscape
Contributes to development of business plans and revenue models for portfolio management, strategic planning as well as licensing and acquisition target lists
Supports VP in development of strategic intents and recommendations (target market/ customer segments, product/ service offerings, and competitive advantage)
Evaluates new business opportunities including L&A, partnerships, and internal collaboration possibilities
Connectivity with internal and external environments
Conduct research and analysis to evaluate new market opportunities, support new product development, and keep the organization abreast of market conditions
Establish connections and partner with related internal and external organizations and key thought leaders focused on HIT, provision of healthcare and / or IT innovation
Attends industry forums, academic conferences, company sponsored events, and other relevant forums
QualificationBA/ BS degree is required
To be considered for this recent graduate position it is required that this person have obtained an MBA or advanced degree in business or life sciences within the prior 9 months from January 2009.
Minimum of 5 years prior work experience is required
Prior experience in strategic planning, development and execution is required
Understanding of market research, project management, and strategic planning principles is required
Strong analytical skills with ability to translate learnings into actionable recommendations for business growth is required
Demonstrated ability to lead change through synthesis and interpretation of data is required
Excellent communication and presentation skills are required
Experience within healthcare industry is preferred
