Position Description:

This position can be located in either our Durham, NC or Arlington, VA office. This position will provide media, partner and marketing communications support for the Communications team. Major focus of this role will be to serve as the PDC’s in-house publishing expert across many of our online communications vehicles, both internal and external; and to provide editorial, distribution and graphics support, as needed to meet the needs of the Communications team’s annual operational goals.
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS with 2-4 years of relevant experience in media relations, communications, or journalism; MA/MPH with some relevant experience in media relations, communications, or journalism. PR Agency experience a plus. Ability to quickly learn and/or adapt to new online publishing and presentation tools. Interest in learning about new ways to communicate with various audience groups.
