Shell Oil Company is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner for their Norco, Louisiana location.
Responsibilities:
* Perform physical examinations and medical evaluations for pre-placement, return to work, fitness for duty, walk-in injuries and illnesses and medical emergencies
* Make medical diagnosis and provide medical treatment including writing of prescription medications for occupational illnesses and injuries
* Manage clinic operations
* Consult with management, HSE and HR regarding fitness to work issues
* Participate in projects as required by the supervisor
* May be required to work at other Shell Health locations in the region on a regular basis
* This position will indirectly influence annual budget spend for medical supplies
* This position will also have indirect supervision of contract nurses
Requirements:
* Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
* To provide medical evaluations including management of work-related and non work-related medical conditions impacting fitness to work of employees
* Provide routine and episodic medical surveillance for occupational exposures
* Ensure smooth, efficient and effective running of the clinic including resource adequacy and continuity
* Ensure delivery of high quality clinical care and consultation to employees
