UNICEF seeks a , Multilateral Affairs to be based in its Governance and Multilateral Affairs Office, New York Headquarters.

In close coordination with the Chief of the Unit, you will serve as the Organization’s main focal point for the World Bank and IFIs, including providing analyses for their policies and providing support for senior staff in their interactions with these institutions. This will enable UNICEF to have a coherent global approach to the World Bank and other IFIs and partnerships to drive the child rights agenda forward at policy level globally and at country level.

Your profile:
Advanced university degree in social development, social policies, economics, political science, relations.
Eight years of professional work in development, with a mix of academic, government, and multilateral .
Extensive prior professional in economic and social research concerned with developing and transition countries.
Operational working in or with the World Bank and/or other IFIs is an asset.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
Knowledge of applications.
Fluency in English and another UN working language required.
