Sterling is a growing company dedicated to innovation and teamwork. Our customers value the superior service, reliability, and commitment to excellence that Sterling’s professionals demonstrate daily. And at Sterling we value our professionals, providing , exciting challenges, and the opportunity for growth.

Sterling Life Insurance Company was established in 1958. In 1999, Sterling contracted with its sister company, Olympic Health Management Systems, Inc., to develop products for the rapidly expanding market comprised primarily of older Americans. Sterling’s national licensing and Olympic’s expertise in designing products and services exclusively related to the Medicare population have blended to form a team that is stable, innovative, and responsive to the needs of clients and beneficiaries.

Today, Sterling offers a variety of products and services to fit the needs of Medicare beneficiaries. The combined staffing of the two sister companies has grown to over 1,000 talented and diversified people working together to achieve a number of industry “firsts.”

Sterling was the first to successfully contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for a newly-authorized product, Private Fee-for-Service (PFFS). By incorporating this plan into its already established and Medicare Select supplement insurance plans, Sterling became the first to offer this mix of products in one platform. It is believed Sterling was also the first to allow enrollees/policyholders to move between health plans as their needs change without additional underwriting-an extraordinary feature we call Choice and Mobility.

Today Sterling is licensed in 50 states, plus Washington, D.C., and has sales offices spanning the nation. The product line continues to grow and now includes Life products and Medicare Prescription Drug plans. The products and services will not stop here. Our Business Development team is constantly looking for new programs that will benefit the Medicare market.

Sterling is rated “A-” (Excellent) by A.M. Best. Sterling is part of the Munich Re Group. Munich Re Group has earned an A+ (Superior) rating from A.M. Best, and is one of the world’s largest reinsurers, dedicated to turning risk into value. With the Medicare market booming, Sterling’s future looks very bright. Sterling has the right products, the right partners, the right audience, and the right people.

Sterling Life Insurance Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to a diverse workforce, M/F/D/V. Employment contingent upon a successful background check.
