Job Description
Loss Prevention Manager for a National retailer of fashion and high end product
If you are a great Loss Prevention Manager with great retail experience, please read on!
Base Salary: 65.0 to 75.0 k based on experience and a bonus opportunity of 20%
Purpose of this position:
Coordinate, direct and supervise the daily operations of the Loss Prevention Department to ensure the safety and security of the companies property and assets. Conduct initial investigations for incidents of security, safety, and possible employee misconduct.
What you will be doing:
~Review security reports & follow-up
~ Assure employee compliance with Federal, State and local laws and Policies and Procedures.
~ Develop new and update current LP policies and procedures for training manual
~ Maintain contact with US Customs Liaison and insure adherence to Customs regulations.
~ Provide ongoing education and training of employees regarding shoplifting detection and security awareness.
~ Interview persons suspected of alleged misconduct and prepare detailed reports of such investigations.
~ Maintain files and records of all activities and incidents.
~ Prepare and submit reports on matters of concern and suggestions for improvement of LP operations.
~ Assist in the coordination of the Facility key distribution and provide programming support.
~ Perform spot inspection and supervise LP activities at annual category inventories.
~ Attend seminars and training sessions to achieve additional proficiency in loss prevention matters.
~ Maintain good liaison with all departments and other outside organizations.
What you need for this position:
~ Retail Security or Loss Prevention experience a MUST.
~ Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice/Science preferred.
~ 5 years experience in Loss Prevention field.
~ 3 years supervisory experience.
~ Excellent communications skill to work all levels of the organization, in the field and corporate.
~ Able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
~ Able to maintain highest level of integrity and confidentiality
~ Retail operations at the store level preferred.
