Claims Manager

Need
Parsons is seeking a high energy, results-driven claims management professional to support our Corporate Risk Management Department. The successful candidate will be a self-starting individual motivated in establishing processes and practices to mitigate Parsons’ exposure by formulating, developing, and coordinating all claims-related activities, as well as resolving bona fide claims at the least possible cost through various risk transfer techniques. This will encompass the management of claims, management relationship with insurers and Third Party Administrators, preparing loss analyses and budgets, identifying exposures, recommending solutions, implementing approved programs, promoting loss prevention, updating and monitoring compliance with insurance procedures.
As our Corporate claims expert you will be the primary claims contact between the field operations and the third party administrator(s) and insurance carriers. Your primary function will be to coordinate and oversee all claims and to provide financial and process guidance on claims for all divisions of the corporation. The successful candidate will handle litigation and very complex Professional Liability claims that are related to engineering, construction and environmental services, as well as routine non-complex Auto and General Liability claims. This position will involve 25% to 50% travel.
Requirements
• 10+ years claims and risk management experience in the insurance or construction related industry
• Expertise in claims handling and management of General, Engineers and Architects Professional, and Auto Liability
• Proven experience in litigation management, complex claims, and mass tort
• BS degree in business, finance, risk management, or related field with MBA a plus
• ARM or CPCU designation preferred
