Financial Analyst (Associate III)
BROAD FUNCTION AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION:
Support monthly, quarterly and annual processes related to reporting, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
Provide financial analysis and support to facilitate business decision making.

PRINCIPAL CONTINUING RESPONSIBILITIES IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE:
1. Prepare, compile and report gross profit and operational income for plan, forecasts and actuals.
2. Monitor and analyze plan, forecasts and actuals for significant variances. Includes completion of assigned sections of Business Unit’s reporting packages for annual operating plan, quarterly reviews, strategic plans, topline forecasts and monthly actuals.
3. Participate in development of the annual budget for the Income Statement.
4. Provide financial expertise/support to Marketing.
5. Prepare and analyze special studies/new products P&L as required.
6. Develop analysis to support responses to questions from external and internal parties.
7. Prepare and analyze BU special projects and participate on project teams.

EDUCATION:
BS Accounting/Finance

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
2-3

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Hyperion Essbase knowledge is a definite plus.
Background in finance and financial analysis; effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with PC, Excel, Word.
