Description:
The Dothan Sheet Plant currently has an opening for a Production
Manager. The primary purpose of the Production Manager’s position is to
oversee and direct the activities for all production operations of the
sheet facility. Along with those primary functions, there are other
necessary responsibilities to successfully perform such as manage and
maintain processes including throughput, cost and waste control,
maintenance, shipping, quality, and meet budgeted production metrics.
The successful candidate will assure a safe and highly motivated
workforce by providing leadership in safety and environmental efforts,
positive employee relations and work systems development.
In addition, this candidate will provide leadership to production team
leaders by applying high standards for selection, having processes and
tools to develop and motivate talent and by assisting with the
evaluation of processes and tools for continuous improvement.
Required Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• 5-8 years corrugated or converting manufacturing experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Key Leadership role in either Corrugator or Converting with
experience in the other department.
• Understands Manufacturing Reliability System
• Understands CIA auditing and the Quality System
• Be able to understand and control maintenance budgets
• Knowledge of EPAD and the Capital Approval Process
• Understand the First Line Team Leader On Line Development Tool
• Understand Roadmap System
