Description:
Background: The Salt Lake City Recycling facility’s primary role is to
secure and process recycled paper as a source of fiber for International
Paper’s paper mills as well as other domestic and foreign paper mills.
This facility is seeking a detail-oriented team member.
Key Functions:
• Responsible for timely and accurate data entry into MRS (Material
Receiving System), OEI (Order Entry & Invoicing), and operation of truck
scale.
• Additional duties may include A/P, A/R, collections and various
H/R duties.
• Daily computer entry and data tracking. Active contributor to
the month-end closing process.
• Daily interactions with other International Paper personnel as
well as outside customers, vendors, and truck drivers.
• Sorts and distributes incoming mail.
• Assist with management of general office environment.
Requirements:
• High school diploma / GED
• Minimum 1 year successful office experience with accounting
functions such as invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable and
other general office duties.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Proficient with 10 key.
• Excellent interpersonal and telephone communications skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Able to produce accurate work on a timely basis.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and interruptions.
• Comfortable working both independently and as a team member.
Preferred:
• College course work in Accounting and/or Business desired.
