Primary Role

To ensure that the design and delivery of leadership development, succession planning, and capability development achieves the regional business goals of profitable growth and service delivery.

Key Accountabilities

• Provide strategic input to organizational design and development and facilitation of organizational change

• Ensure that critical organizational capability requirements are identified and met e.g. business growth; service culture etc

• Serve as champion of people and organizational matters

• Develop strategies and policies which are aligned with and reinforce the business strategy

• Ensure the ’s values, business principles and behaviours are embedded into programs

• Support the development and implementation of RWE Thames policies

• Provide expert advice and guidance to the HR professionals who operate within the regional business unit lead resources on projects

• Define employee development and capability needs and implement cost effective solutions

• Assist in the design and implement effective processes for identifying and developing talent in the hiring and selection process; promoting diversity; and building effective succession plans

• Create a ‘performance culture’ with supporting processes; and development

• Drive effective transition and change management activities across the region

• Help where needed with Mergers and Acquisitions and integration activities

• “Contribute to effective communication by listening and providing constructive feedback; supporting the creation of an open and honest work environment; cascading and sharing knowledge and information relevant to other members of the team and colleagues across the business.”

• Broad based HR experience with 7+ years in senior roles
