Shell Oil Company is currently seeking a Team Lead E-Banking and EDI US for their Houston, Texas location.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of four to support the central finance EDI and E-Banking service for the US ensuring that support services meet business requirements and that projects are delivered on time and to budget
- Manage the EDI project portfolio globally and provide advice to business project managers taking on project management activities as necessary
- Operational management of 2nd line support to ensure incidents, change requests and problem tickets are prioritized and resolved
- This will require the team lead to develop a deep technical knowledge of the system to both manage and get involved in the resolution of issues
Requirements:
- Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
- Strong service management skills together with good customer focus preferably ITIL certified
- Technical background with demonstrated problem solving skills in a unix environment
- EDI, middleware, interchange services, e-Banking and XML skills would be desirable
- Proven leadership, motivation, coaching and team working qualities required
- Experience of working in a global and diverse environment required
- Able to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities to deliver to the business
