Job Description

Visa’s card platforms provide consumers, businesses, merchants and government entities with a secure, convenient and reliable way to pay and be paid in 170 countries and territories.

As a member of the Product Management Team, the BL Prepaid Products will be responsible for Managing Prepaid Products for the Region, including knowledge development, product design and management, client communication and training, sales support, implementation support and program management advisory.

RESPONSIBILITIES;

* Managing Prepaid Products for the Region, including knowledge development, product design and management, client communication and training, sales support, implementation support and program management advisory.
* Directing and coordinating execution of regional strategy for specific product categories.
* Managing the execution and implementation of all required infrastructure for Prepaid products throughout the Region.
* Coordinating regional activities with Global Product Office.
* Provide support for the Global Prepaid Center of Expertise by developing relevant content Maintaining and growing relationships with relevant stakeholders.
* Executing deployment of Infrastructure and Category Development initiatives in the region including risk management, new service deployment.
* Working with cross-functional teams to execute annual product plans.
* Promoting Visa’s leadership in the prepaid category at industry events.
* Accountable for regional results in Prepaid Category.
* Responsible for budget management for areas under direct responsibility.
* Ensuring effective management of product budgets
* Position will support Visa’s Regional and Global Prepaid development initiative.
* Must be responsible for developing or coordinating the development of vision and strategy for Prepaid Products
* Responsible for managing successful roll-out of Infrastructure and Category Management Programs for all region and all product segments.
* Develop and propose specific strategies for prepaid products.
* Develop, recommend and implement specific tactics for products under responsibility.
* Develop yearly operational plan.
* Prioritize projects and negotiate execution timeframes when conflicts/lack of resources arise
* Responsible for budget planning, management and control for areas under direct responsibility.

REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelor’s Degree required
* Six to Eight years of relevant experience
* Strategic and innovative thinker with product management, business development and finance experience required
* Strong knowledge of Latin America banking industry and the card payments business a must
* International business experience required
* Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills required
* Excellent communications skills (verbally and written) in English and Spanish required.
* Must be Results Focused, team player with a gift for
* Focuses on cultivating/managing customer relationships and expectations to achieve business objectives
* Teamwork and Collaboration - Works with others across organization to achieve optimum performance and minimize duplication of effort
* Interpersonal Skills-Ability to interact effectively with multiple hierarchy levels both internally and externally
* Communication Skills – Ability to present complex concepts in a simple manner to both small and large audiences
* Graduate School/MBA preferred
*  Eight to ten years of experience preferred
* Must be available to travel throughout the region on short notice. Some travel within the US also required.
