SERVICE DESK SUPPORT ANALYST
Parsons is currently looking for a Service Desk Support Analyst to join our team in Richardson, TX.
Position Responsibilities:
Daily responsibilities will consist of support and troubleshooting on various problems and/or systems via phone and e-mail, utilizing proper documentation on tickets for proper resolution. Opportunities may also include security administration, problem resolution as a Subject Matter Expert, Knowledge Base contribution, and occasional pilot program testing.. This position also offers a dynamic work environment, which encourages career growth that will possibly enable a qualified candidate to be considered for additional roles within the infrastructure and applications arenas in the future.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Organizational skills that allow for multi-tasking.
· Excellent phone etiquette.
· Strong desire to learn.
· Experience providing support of various hardware and software including Windows 2000/XP and Microsoft Office products as well as one or more forms of e-mail.
· Strong working knowledge of technical issues relating to connectivity.
· Experience supporting NT/Active Directory networks.
Desired Skills:
· Solid understanding of TCP/IP protocols and associated configuration utilities.
· Experience with a variety of PC configurations including Pentium processors, tape drives, other computer hardware components.
· Ability to handle multiple conflicting priorities, balanced with strong attention to detail and overall flexibility.
Education:
· Associates Degree and/or combined educational and work experience.
Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
· MCP for Windows OS, MCSA or MCSE Certifications preferred.
