Shell is currently seeking a Chain for their Waterton location.

Responsibilities:
The Waterton Chain Representativeis accountable for providing procurement expertise and leading strategic procurement initiatives in the creation and implementation of commercial agreements for materials and services in support of Waterton Complex gas plant and field activities.  They will work closely with Leadership Team and Business Partners to optimize the Total Procurement Process and coordinate local Procurement Process requirements to ensure alignment with Regional Chain initiatives.

  • Analyze and understand local business drivers, chains and market sectors. Develop local contract strategies with the business
  • Lead the development of local category strategies, including appropriate coordination across EPW area of operations and/or other Shell businesses
  • Manage local sourcing process, including negotiations, and contract execution
  • Support contract and contractor performance through the BPR process assess the effectiveness of contract/ chain strategies
  • Identify, develop and implement chain improvement opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with chain processes, procedures, and business controls (including Shell Group Business Principles and US Export Controls)
  • Ensure category strategies are aligned with HSE and Sustainable Development objectives

Requirements:

  • Must have legal authorization to work in on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
  • Approximately 5 years Chain, Materials, or related experience
  • Knowledge of EP business
  • Knowledge of HSE Systems
  • Skilled in Materials Processes and Accounting/Finance Standards
  • Good written and verbal communications skills and proven ability to work in a team-based environment
  • Knowledge of procurement systems such as SAP, JDE, Maximo, etc
