Primary Responsibilities:
  • Submitting applications into the main frame
  • Scanning the applications for errors and resolving them as needed
  • Checking for prior authorizations before the information is entered into the system
  • Verifying licensure and ensuring premiums were correctly matched the system
  • Reviewing applications submitted by mail or online to ensure accuracy
  • Generating correspondence requesting additional information
  • Tracking and work activities

Qualifications

 

Qualifications:
  • Requirements:
  • experience
  • Excellent typing/10 key skills - 40 wpm minimum
  • MS Word, Excel and Outlook - intermediate skills
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Data Entry experience - 2-3 years
  • Customer Service experience - 2-3 years
  • Able to work overtime and some Saturdays
  • Assets:
  • A background the healthcare industry
