Description
This position will provide financial and business analysis support for the Institutional Development and Sales and Client Services organizations. General responsibilities will include: accounting, management reporting, financial analysis and metrics, financial modeling and planning. Candidate will need to be flexible in work assignments and be able to effectively multi-task between business unit assignments, while maintaining a high quality of work results.
* Perform complex financial modeling and analysis, in support of strategic business plans, new business development opportunities, pricing analysis and other business needs
* Complete management reporting for business units. Develops accurate and well thought-out analyses on the financial performance of the business unit

Create and maintain business unit P&L’s to support the continued growth of the business units
*
Contributes to the preparation and development of the annual, three-year, and strategic financial plans
*
Develops a strong understanding of key performance drivers & issues relating to budget and financial results. Incorporates them into monthly quantitative and qualitative analysis of the business’ financial results
*
Work with team members to continually review month-end reporting and other departmental processes to ensure that management information is generated in a timely manner and to the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

Creates Excel-based analyses to evaluate financial scenarios for the business
*
Assist with project management, including assessing business needs, writing project plans, developing specifications, coordinating with IT, validating data, tracking and resolving issues, budget tracking, etc.
*
Proficient in developing/maintaining underlying databases and reporting tools used for management reporting and analysis
*
Follows proper internal control procedures in relation to developing estimates, expense accruals and management reporting.
*
Continually look for ways to improve our reporting processes
*
Maintain and update procedures and documentation
Qualifications
* BS required - in Finance, Accounting; MBA a plus
* 3 to 5 years experience, previous experience in Financial Services is a plus
* Excellent financial modeling skills
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills
* Must be detail-orientated, strong team player and self-motivated
* Autonomous and a self-starter
* Strong problem solving and analytical ability
* Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access skills.
* Ability to balance multiple and diverse priorities while delivering quality product.
* Working non-standard business hours as required.
