Position Summary:

Work as part of an agile team to develop applications integrating front-end web interfaces and complex applications by leveraging the internal Coupons, Inc. robust API architecture. This is a rare opportunity to be the responsible developer for a top 100 website with tens of millions of unique visitors each month. Work in a small team of people dedicated to making Coupons.com a world class destination web site.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate should have a broad skill set which allows them to work independently completing small to large sized projects in a fast moving environment.

* Develop the back end for a high volume consumer facing website utilizing the the Coupons Inc APIs and tools.
* Deliver projects end to end - from documentation to production grade code to release and production support.
* Work with network development, engineering (QA, Database Administration, and Network Ops), Marketing, and Sales to drive projects to completion.

Qualifications:

BS in CS (or equivalent) and 5-7 years of hands-on software design and development experience in a startup environment

* Strong hands on skills in - ASP.Net, AJAX, C#, C++, MSSQL, logical design, stored procedures and web technologies including HTML, Javascript, XML, XSL, solid understanding of HTTP protocol.
* Nice to have skills - experience with complex data models, large databases, extensive reporting and data analysis.
* Excellent oral and written communications skills
* Experience in the design and development of client/server and multi-tier software systems
* Experience in a high-availability and mission-critical environment
* Keen ability to understand business needs and partner with Marketing and other business disciplines.
