Senior Manager, Developer Marketing

Position Description:

The AT&T Developer Program team is looking for a world-class technical evangelist to drive the developer community to create robust applications for the AT&T network. You can play a major role in the future success for the world class developer program by leading the technical and evangelism activities for the program!

In this high energy, cross-functional role you will create technical content for the portal at http://developer.att.com and provide developer requirements to the developer tools and resources for new compelling developer tools and resources. In addition, you’ll facilitate, provide requirements and implement improvements to the on-boarding and development processes. Lead cross-functional teams, track and manage issues, contingencies and risks for the successful launch of tools and resources. Close alignment across marketing teams and technical teams.

Additionally:
· Create and promote technical content and resources of a world-class developer program
· Work with OS/platform vendors to create compelling technical content for the program
· Evangelize AT&T’s efforts to drive to OS/Platform standards and conformity
· Influence the AT&T device life cycle to meet developer needs
· Provide requirements and implement improvements to the on boarding and development processes
· Support and guide the development community to build robust applications on AT&T network and to win go-to-market opportunities
· Build and maintain a strong relationship and regular communications with internal marketing stakeholders in relation to their business goals and priorities, and track progress

Position Qualifications:

Qualifications:
· 8 + years experience as a developer or in a technical position, ideally with prior experience in working with developer programs
· Four to five years experience in software application development and familiarity of the wireless space is preferred
· Must have strong organizational and cross-functional coordination skills. Ability to multi-task essential
· Outstanding written communication skills. Ideally, also has success in developing and delivering presentations
· Demonstrated self starter with the ability to work in an ambiguous environment
· Strong knowledge of wireless devices, wireless networks, and software industry, as well as customer and wireless industry trends
· Education: Bachelor degree
