Description:
• Provide supervision, direction and leadership for the division to
raise the standard of performance in meeting the goals of our internal
and external customers.
• Plan, direct and monitor operation of the delivery system to ensure a
competitive service advantage by maintaining a high degree of accuracy
and customer service at minimal cost.
• Lead, select, hire and train new delivery employees; evaluate their
performance
• Plan and coordinate work activities of delivery function (directly and
thru supervisors)
• Manages and controls delivery expenses & capital.
• Participates in group/regional distribution projects
• Supports division safety committee; ensures regular driver safety
meetings, recommends changes to assist in maintaining a safe working
environment.
