Description:
• Visually inspects loaded truck and performs appropriate pre-trip
inspection checks and proper log book record-keeping.
• Delivers stock to customers by a predetermined route to insure
customer received their order and completes any of the assigned pickups
in a timely and safe manner.
• Responds to customers’ needs in a polite and understanding manner and
reports any problems or inconsistencies related to delivery to the
supervisor in a timely manner.
• Must insure all proper paperwork and records are completed accurately
and timely.
• Promotes and maintains safe work environment and a positive teamwork
environment.
• Work with multiple personalities with internal and external customers
• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years working in a warehouse environment. Distribution preferred.
• Must have a valid Class A CDL.
• Must have a safe driving record and clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Excellent organizational, time management and customer relations
skills.
• Strong problem solving, math and reading abilities and good attention
to detail.
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
• Regular and punctual attendance.
• Repeated lifting over 50 lbs.
• Walk/stand to complete customer orders and operate MHE.
• Ability to certify on material handling equipment. Experience with
material handling equipment preferred.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, performance-based, non-climate
controlled environment.
