Shell Oil Products US (SOP US) is a leader in the marketing of fuels, lubricants, coolants, services and solutions to consumer and business-to-business customers in automotive commercial and industrial sectors. SOP US also operates refineries and a pipeline and terminal system as well as more than 13,000 Shell-branded gas stations.
With a presence in 49 states and a 10.1 percent brand share according to NPD as of December 2005, Shell continues to be the number one selling brand in America, while Shell V-Power remains America’s best selling premium grade gasoline.
Shell Oil Products US. is currently seeking a Sales Manager – Consumer Products for their Houston, Texas location.
Responsibilities:
* Manage $100mm - $200mm Account
* Staff: Ten (4 direct reports)
* Manage internal and external relationships
* Insure safety, volume metrics and financial targets are achieved.
* Provide vision, leadership and direction for sales account and team.
* Sales growth
* Strategy execution
* Operating expenses and overall P&L
Requirements:
* Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
* 10+ years commercial sales experience with emphasis on consumer products
* Bachelor’s degree required – MBA preferred
* Supervisory / leadership experience
* Interaction with all levels of customer organizations
* Balance of strategic and creative skills
* Strong analytical skills
* Strong results – orientation
* Strong understanding of financial models
