Interns will be employed by a contract company and will not be considered as Shell employees during the internship period.
Responsibilities:

• During the internship, interns will participate in the following activities with supervision:
  • An introduction to the quality assurance lab operations
  • An overview of the utilities module to include the production of potable, clarified, and filtered water; high and low pressure steam, compressed air, and nitrogen
  • Observation of technicians managing the tank farm, the transfer and storage of raw materials, feed stocks, and finished materials
  • Observation of the loading and off-loading of raw materials and finished products in tank trucks, tank cars, and marine shipments
  • Following and observing a variety of process operators as they complete daily chores, unit operations, and general life in the control room

 Requirements:

• Candidate must be currently enrolled in a Process Technology Associates Degree program 
• Candidate must be currently enrolled in a Process Technology internship class
• Candidate must possess at least a 2.5 Cumulative GPA in their degree program
• Applicants must be willing to work in Norco.
• Applicants should have work authorization(s) for United States
• 4 internship positions available
