Youth Villages has expanded into Massachusetts and is looking to hire a bilingual family counselor who is fluent in english and spanish.

Intercept Family Counselors provide intensive home based family therapy with a small case load of four to six families. Interventions are parent-focused bringing change through the family, school, community, and peer groups. Ideal counselors have high intensity, a strong commitment to our treatment philosophies, are outcome driven, strength focused, creative problem solvers and open to high levels of supervision.

Fluent in English and Spanish. Strong written and verbal fluency skills required in English.

A Master’s degree in a social services field is preferred.

A Bachelors Degree in a social services field with 2 years counseling or related experience will be considered.

Employees must be willing to provide 24 hour availability to their clients with a weekend pager rotation system as well as use their own vehicle traveling to family s homes throughout our service area which can be up to a sixty mile radius of our office. Counselors must be able to respond to cases within our coverage area within 30 minutes.
