Job Description

Mechanical Engineers

Responsibilities
The National Security Agency’s Office of Installation & Logistics is currently seeking motivated Mechanical Engineers at all levels of experience to join its Facilities Engineering Group in Ft. Meademd. This engineering team is responsible for the technical quality of facility mechanical systems at our headquarters location and around the world including planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance.

Qualifications
Ideal candidates shall have experience in some or all of the following: HVAC, chilled water, steam, EMCS, heating water, ventilation, air distribution, plumbing, energy management, data centers, VAV systems, central chiller/boiler plants, primary/secondary pumping, testing and balancing, commissioning and IAQ/HVAC system troubleshooting. Knowledge of HVAC calculations, psychometrics, ASHRAE Standards, NFPA/ICC codes and LEED requirements and the ability to manage multiple design contracts and assignments are necessary. A minimum of 2-5 years of experience and strong written and verbal communications skills are required. A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
