Description:
Key Functions
Background: Three years minimum experience as an Electrician in a
manufacturing setting. Strong electrical and mechanical experience is a
must with an emphasis on electrical skills. Proficiency with machine
controls and/or 3 phase power systems is a plus. Hands on experience
with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems also desired.
• Effectively troubleshoot and repair facility and production
mechanical equipment.
• Effectively troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical
control systems and PLC’s
• Install new electrical services.
• Install new or rebuilt machine parts.
• Rebuild failed components.
• Support installation of new systems and equipment. •
• Read and understand drawings, diagrams, schematics, OEM
Manuals, and other manufacturer’s specifications.
The following qualifications are required:
High School diploma or equivalency along with three years minimum
experience as an Electrician in a manufacturing setting. Other
necessary skills include:
• Advanced computer skills with an emphasis on programmable
controllers.
• Must have expertise in electrical, electronics and other
maintenance skills.
• Experienced with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to work additional and flexible hours (week-
ends) as needed.
• Must be willing and able to work all shifts dependent on
company business needs.
