Branch Manager at Large
Description
In this position you will manages continuous improvement initiatives for the region and gains experience in sales and operations in order to be ultimately placed as a general manager, managing a location, hub or multiple store locations.
* Promotes continuous improvement initiatives in the region by managing special projects that enhance overall customer service, process flow and customer retention.
* Supports regional sales efforts by participating with other management team members to advance sales strategies.
* Gains experience in regional sales and operations business practices by working closely with local management.
* Seeks opportunities to increase overall profitability by controlling costs and improving efficiencies.
* Coordinates with District Manager to ensure sales goals are met; ensures regulatory compliance by becoming familiar with and monitoring location safety audits, OSHA and DOT record keeping and employee safety training.
* Oversees daily people management by providing direction to staff and by handling staffing, performance development or related issues.
Qualifications
Requires one year store management or sales experience.
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, marketing or related field preferred but not required.
May travel up to 75% of time depending on assignment.
