DESCRIPTION:

This position serves as a Senior Health Services Administrator

*** Minimum Qualifications ***

· A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; and

· Three (3) years of professional experience in health care, systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation or health care administration work.

· A master’s degree from an accredited college or university can substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.

· Professional or nonprofessional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.

In addition to the above-described minimum qualifications, selected candidate must meet the following:

· A bachelor’s degree – no substitution

· Three (3) years of professional administrative experience in health care, systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation or health care administration work.

· A financial background including budget oversight, purchasing and monitoring of expenditures.

· Knowledge of industry standard medical billing terminology (e.g. ICD-9 codes, CPT codes, Revenue codes) [Preferred]

· Experience with quality assurance programs in a health care setting. [Preferred]
