Sr. ​ System Engineer will recommend hardware, software and network systems configurations.​ Additionally, our Sr.​ Engineers will often implement what they have designed and recommended for a client; therefore, this position must have a diverse training background, experience in multiple hardware and software platforms, networking interfaces and protocols, and security best practices.​ It is expected that our Sr.​ Engineers understand Project Management Methodologies, can lead a team of engineers to implement our proposed solutions, document and train the client when the solutions have been delivered.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
What were looking for is a Senior Systems Engineer with the following:

1. ​    Required: Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager Installation and Configuration Expert w/​ experience in application deployment (Office 2007, Windows Vista, etc.​)
2.​    Required: VDI or Desktop Virtualization must be familiar with Microsoft AppV and HyperV
3.​    Important, but NOT Required: Microsoft Desktop Optimization (MDOP)
4.​    Important, but NOT Required: Microsoft Exchange 2003/​2007 Deployment Expert
5.​    Important, but NOT Required: VMware Deployment
6.​    Important, but NOT Required: HP Bladesystems and/​or Storage (MSA/​EVA/​Lefthand) Setup & Configuration

These would be bonuses!
1.​    Microsoft ForeFront Client Security
2.​    Microsoft Data Protection Manager (DPM)
3.​    Citrix XenApp
4.​    Microsoft SharePoint 2007 Deployment & Infrastructure
5.​    VMware View
6.​    Symantec Enterprise Vault 2007

Certifications:

Hold a minimum of two of the listed certifications:

MCSE 2003 +​Exchange, SMS)
CISSP, SANS or GIAC
CCIE, CCNP, CCDP
Novell Netware CNE
Citrix Certified Engineer
Symantec BindView
Symantec Enterprise Vault (all versions)
Symantec Sygate Certified
VMWARE VCP

Education
Information Systems Management, Computer Science or related experience
Microsoft product implementation and support experience
strong networking
pre-sales and presentation skills.

Travel required: up to 50%
