Scheduler Job: IMMEDIATE NEED FOR Primavera P6 Schedulers or latest versions with experience on utility and/or transmission construction projects. Will be based in an office in Central Ohio, Southwestern Virginia or Eastern Oklahoma with very little travel related to the projects. This is a long term contract assignment as a Project Construction Primavera Scheduler for utility transmission projects. Experience in project planning support role to large scale construction projects. Must be skilled in Primavera Project Planner (P6). Experience and demonstrated understanding of concepts and products developed by the project management tool, i.e.: resource charts, pert charts, Gantt charts, concepts of float, schedule status, revisions, etc. Experience and ability to consolidate independently generated project data effectively with Construction Coordinators on cross-functional teams. Able to coordinate multiple work schedules (i.e. the 5 day 8 hour, 4 day 1 0 hour, 9 day 80 hour, and other work schedules as applicable). Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft products and Lotus products for spreadsheets and word processing. Additional knowledge in databases a plus. Requires a minimum 3 years of in-depth, verifiable, recent experience using Primavera Project Planner (P6 or latest versions). Must have a background in the construction industry is a requirement. College degree a plus. Questions you will be asked -> Describe your experience as a Primavera P6 Scheduler-Planner for project planning support role to large scale construction projects. A) In detail, describe the meaning of the SPI and CPI calculations and what they mean to the Project? B) Discuss why it is imperative for the Project Schedule, assessments, reports, and metrics to all be accurate and consistent. A) Describe your experience working on project teams to develop-maintain a construction schedule using Primavera Project Planner (P6). Describe your ability to lead the effort to help determine schedule activities, appropriate predecessor-successor relationships, track issues and actions items, assist with change control process and contribute to various project management measures and reports as needed.
