Description:
We have an immediate opening for a VP Branch Manager in our Newport Beach- Airport branch.

The Branch Manager is Responsible for directing and managing all sales and service activities of assigned branch in order to achieve profitable distribution of the Bank’s products and services. The Branch Manager understands, supports, drives and coaches the overall Cal National Building Excellence (B.E.) Process and is charged independently initiating and supporting B. E. sales and service process activities, making recommendations effecting quality service, operations and growth opportunity of branch.

Requirements:
Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year accredited college or university; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must have branch management experience. Within the last five years, must have a minimum of three to five years of direct management and supervisory experience leading, motivating, and developing a team of five or more associates in a service-focused environment. Experience in a goal and/or commission-based environment is essential as is ability to manage difficult situations with customers and provide clients with information, data, and advice, build and develop partnerships with customers, suppliers and colleagues. The BM must have the necessary experience to plan, direct, and monitor sales activities and coach and motivate front-line employees and managers.

Desired Skills: Management, sales, and/or service experience in the following fields: banking/financial services, mortgage, retail, or hospitality; Ability to study market research and trends and achieve forecasts.

Series 6, 63, and California Life & Disability licenses may be transferred but Branch Managers defer the sale of investments to non-management sales licensed sales staff.

The Branch Manager position may be offered at the Vice President or Assistant Vice President level depending on experience. In some cases the position may be offered as a Branch Service Manager III with an a development plan to reach the Branch Manager level.
