Mechanical Engineers – Electronics Packaging
This job is in New Jersey , with a company that makes systems for the US military. US citizenship is required. I am advertising in your area in order to locate people interested in working and living in New Jersey .
In this position, you will be responsible for investigating and developing advances in the state-of-the-art technologies for Military High-Density packaging, such as, RF Modules, Analog, Power Supply, Digital Printed Wiring Boards (PWB) and Chassis design. You will recommend practical applications; provide advice and consultation to engineering personnel and management in areas of specialization. Required responsibilities include: detailed mechanical design and analysis of high reliability electronic systems, specification and drawing generation for electronics systems and modules, and execution of mechanical trade-off studies.
BSME or MSME plus at least 4 years experience in Military High-Density packaging, such as, RF Modules, Analog, Power Supply, RF and Digital PWB design, and Chassis design for ruggedized ground, airborne, or space applications is preferred. Familiarity with design software such as PRO-E other tools used for thermal, vibration analysis is a plus.
